2 Weeks Left of Term!

Hello, I am so glad that the snow hasn't disrupted our Yoga Classes.  Next week is our last week before a week off for half term.  Please come and catch up on any lessons you've missed, I'm happy to see you twice in 1 week if you need to catch up on Classes.

I have been planning next term, it's all about balance work!

There is lots of information about the importance of physical balance.

When we are working in silence with our breath it is our opportunity to listen to our body.  I know when I've been going to bed too late, eating the wrong food, too much food, or having more than 1 glass of red wine, I can sense a fuzzy noise in my ears. My body is telling me to slow down, to regain balance in all aspects of my life.

The next 6 week term runs from the 25th February - 3rd April 2019 and is available to book now.

Before we know it Spring will be here, I have a number of strategies that I use to help keep me healthy.

Keeping active through the Winter is important for me, I feel energised after a walk and lethargic if I've not been active. 

I have also recently discovered the benefits of a cold shower! I must admit I wash with warm water and then finish with a cold blast.  I don't think staying in cold water for prolonged periods fits with my being kind to myself motto!  It takes a little getting used to, but I must say I enjoy it now.  

There is research looking into the benefits of cold showers for various conditions, please feel free to ask me about it & if you try it or have been doing it for years let me know!

Good News, my yoga teacher and mentor is visiting from France.

Kate is running a workshop on the 1st March, at Parmoor House in Cheltenham.  It's on Friday evening 6.30 - 8.30 pm, a perfect way to start the weekend.
