Revitalise with Yoga.
The ancient science of yoga, allows us to connect our mind, body and breath. When we are not feeling 100%, even if we only show symptoms in one area, chances are all of these elements will be playing a part. In my classes I keep postures achievable, so that you can see your progress over time. Eventually, you might achieve a state where you can follow your breath and movement consciously, in a form of meditation.
When we practise yoga wisely our parasympathetic nervous system and digestive system can be triggered. So our wonderful body gets a revitalising boost. So appreciate that precious time in class to breathe your full breath and give your body time to rejuvenate and recover from daily life.
I talk about the power of visualisation in my yoga classes. A simple exercise for you, look at the scene, imagine it's you sat there. Close your eyes, take a long deep breath, see the scene in your mind, now breath in the fresh, clear air. Do you feel refreshed?
